When trying to "do" things with bots while (stress) testing a server involving commands and/or remembering nicknames for a short time, it'd be easier to see and remember a number instead of a random username or a random string of characters.
Describe the solution you'd like
Instead of (or in addition to) the -r flag, I'd like something like:
-u REAL (real nicknames, same behavior as -r)
-u RANDOM (random string nicknames, same behavior as no -r)
-u SEQUENTIAL (new behavior, sequential integer nicknames such as 1, 2, ..., with a prefix of BOT_: BOT_1, BOT_2, ...)
